Staying with Nathalie and Nigel in their apartment in the north-west of Singapore.
Highlights:
- clearly, the people!
- a really cool apartment on the fifth floor, overlooking an ornate, massive swimming pool on one side and a rainforest on the other.
- a quick trip to Little India with Nigel, while Nat's at work, to pick up the goods for a Indian meal (putting my lessons and creativity into practice). Consumed to a background of the X-factor USA.
- a glass of wine at the parade of shops opposite the apartment. Alcohol is really expensive here; a glass of wine is S10, £5 and the cheapest bottle here S40, £20! wowzers.
PS Don't judge my punctuation, the iPad makes executive decisions on the matter and I don't notice. I know the difference between it's and its! I think!?!
